It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 18th International Symposium on Novel Aromatic Compounds (ISNA-18) which is held in Sapporo on the northernmost island of Japan on July 21st (Sun) - 26th (Fri), 2019.
The ISNA was established in 1970 by Prof. Tetsuo Nozoe, our academic grandfather, who discovered the nonbenzenoid aromatic compound, hinokitiol, in Taipei. The name and aim of the ISNA series have evolved over the years as the researches and applications of aromatic compounds thriving in diverse range of disciplines. To continue the blossoming tradition of previous ISNA series, ISNA-18 will provide an interactive platform for researchers worldwide to present new findings and exchange innovative ideas on advanced synthesis, structure-property relationship, and applications of novel aromatic compounds for different purposes.
The scientific program of this symposium includes the Nozoe memorial lecture, plenary lectures, invited lectures, contributed lectures and poster presentations. We welcome all of you to nice and cool Sapporo with warm hospitality for hot discussion in the symposium.
